Structured into four sections, North, South, East and West; Sketches of Bute unveils a beautiful and varied landscape filled with echoes of the island's long history. Using an impressionistic blend of imagery and sound the film journeys from abandoned cottages and farmhouses to ancient neolithic sites and ruined churches. Filming began at midsummer sunrise on 2023 and ended at midsummer sunset 2024.
